Beaverton-based pile.of.puppies has organized nearly 2,000 visits to chronically or terminally ill children since 2016. “The puppies don’t care if you’re dying or you’re sick,” says founder Jennifer Trepanier. “They’re gonna bring you joy.” The charity is a beneficiary of The Oregonian/OregonLive’s 2025 Season of Sharing holiday fundraising campaign.
