Oil and gas companies have made ambitious pledges to #CutMethane emissions — but how well are they following through? A new EDF, International Energy Agency (IEA) and International Methane Emissions Observatory - IMEO report provides the first independent baseline of methane-related commitments and follow-through for 116 companies making up 80% of global oil and gas production. 🔎 The findings show that while commitments are widespread, transparent plans and verified data are still the exception, not the rule.
