This week, our collaboration with the @pennfieldhockey team brought Classroom Champions into three incredible @philly_schools 💙 Each visit looked a little different, but the feeling in every classroom was unmistakable: students were engaged, curious, and ready for meaningful connection, and the UPenn athletes met that energy with authenticity and heart. At Vare-Washington Elementary, educators were already weaving the curriculum seamlessly into their day, creating space for students to ask thoughtful, insightful questions. At Hamilton Disston School, the experience resonated so deeply that one UPenn athlete wrapped up the visit by heading to the front office to learn how she could come back and volunteer. And at Juniata Park Academy, a simple conversation about college opened a powerful moment of possibility for a student with autism who began to see higher education as a real path for himself.
