“This is not a generic person,” Chad Scruggs says of his 9-year-old daughter, Hallie, who was murdered in a school shooting. “It's someone that uniquely bore God's image in the world and [who is] irreplaceable. And we just want you to know her, you know? She's worth being known.” Her room has remained untouched for over 2 years. The Scruggs family participated in CBS News correspondent Steve Hartman’s project as a way to let people step inside their world for a moment and feel the weight of their sadness. “People can talk about solutions. But until they feel the weight of the problem, I don't know how to really talk about solutions,” says Chad. #emptyroom #schoolshooting #family
