Gracie Muehlberger was 15 when she was killed six years ago in the Saugus High School shooting in Santa Clarita, California. Her parents, Cindy and Bryan, say her bedroom has provided them with some comfort through the devastating heartbreak. “It's the closest I could feel to her,” says Cindy, remembering that she slept in her daughter’s bed for a week or two after her death. Gracie’s bedroom is one of eight that were photographed as part of the project created by CBS News correspondent Steve Hartman. He traveled the United States with photographer Lou Bopp, documenting the empty rooms left behind after school shootings. #emptyroom #schoolshooting #saugushighschool
