After multiple egg retrievals and IVF transfer attempts it gets more and more difficult to hear flippant remarks that you’re “fighting against nature” or “refusing to accept that that this isn’t meant for you”, but you have to tune them them all out. I am the only one qualified to determine what’s meant for me in this life. And of course, I know all too well that not every IVF journey or pregnancy ends with a baby, but the important thing is that the journey unfolds on your terms, and not someone else’s opinion.
