The Joffrey Concert Group and Bernard H. Gaddis phillyboy1227_bernard_gaddis shared an intimate in-studio showing of his work for the Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative last week. The piece draws from moments and ideas within Bernard’s past creations and reimagines them through the lens of duets that follow people on their different journeys. What began as a reflection on connection has taken shape as a series of shared paths, each one revealing how two dancers can navigate weight, tension, trust, and possibility. With every phrase, the dancers bring Bernard’s storytelling to life through intention, clarity, and emotional depth. This piece entitled “Stolen Moments” will be presented at In My Art, February 20–21, 2026 at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater, alongside works by Clifford Williams, Ken Ossolla and Artistic Director Bradley Shelver.
