At least 75 people have been killed and 76 injured after a huge fire struck a high-rise public housing complex in Hong Kong - and nearly 300 people are missing. The blaze, which tore through seven of eight tower blocks in the Tai Po district on Wednesday is now "basically under control", said Hong Kong's chief executive John Lee. It's unclear how many people were inside the complex but according to the most recent census figures it houses 4,600 residents. Investigators are looking into how the residential complex was being renovated, as police say the materials on the outside of the building, which included mesh and plastic sheets, were not fireproof.
