If You Build It, They Will Come One thing I’ve learned through this charity journey is that every meaningful event starts as a dream-just an idea in your mind until you decide to pull the trigger. Last year, Mutts took on the incredible challenge of 7in7 - seven half marathons in seven days… to raise awareness and funds for the Raleigh Testicular Cancer Foundation in honor of his son, Callum, now a testicular cancer survivor himself. That spirit inspired us to try something again in the running space this year. Honestly, we thought maybe 2 or 3 people might show up. But this morning, over 20+ people came out to complete our 5K. We had great conversations, plenty of laughs, and real moments of connection. We brought awareness and education to men’s health, talked about how to grow this event in the future, and enjoyed a truly family-style morning… youth hockey players, cancer survivors, parents, friends, coworkers, older folks, younger siblings… such an amazing mix.
