CMU football fell to Toledo Saturday afternoon 21-3. This loss eliminates the Chippewa's chances at the Mid-American Conference Championship. Central Michigan finishes the regular season 7-5 overall and 5-3 in MAC play, fully bowl-eligible and awaiting its placement on December 7. In a celebration for their seniors, 27 Chippewas were highlighted. "You can't avoid this day," senior linebacker Jordan Kwiatkowski said. "It's tough that we didn't get the win on senior day, but, I'm so very grateful to be in this position, to be with these guys, to have this coaching staff. Yeah, we lost. It's a learning lesson, but, I was surrounded by guys that I love and guys that love me and a coaching staff that cares for all of us, and you just really got to see the bigger picture. We're all human beings. We're all doing this life for the first time ever." ✍️Sydney Neal 📸Trevor Sparks #lifeatcentral #cmufootball #MACfootball
