December is here and we’re getting out some holiday festive ink in our print shop exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum. However, it’s not the best color to use for National Eat A Red Apple Day (December 1) For today, Howard letterpress printed an old electrotype (copy of a woodcut), which was made about 90-100 years ago, of an apple. This cut is from the Bill Gaylord Collection. This was printed with green rubber base ink using our Washington hand press. #EatARedAppleDay #apple #apples #SacHistoryMuseum #sacramento #museum #history #letterpress #printingpress #asmr #printing #oldsacramento #printmaking
