“250 chicks and feed delivered!” That’s the update from social impact advocate and media personality Emprezz Golding, who is praising Olympian Michael Frater, O.D. for stepping up in a major way to support the Kilmarnock Rebuild and Restoration effort. Frater, a retired sprinter, coach, and proud Trelawny son, has been helping several communities across the parish recover after Hurricane Melissa. Despite the heavy demand, he still said yes when asked to assist farmers in Kilmarnock, where more than 200 farmers lost livestock, chickens, goats, and crops during the storm. Golding says restoring livelihoods is just as critical as rebuilding homes. The community is calling for support through livestock restocking or by purchasing Kilmarnock farm products to help families get back on their feet. She also extended appreciation to the Barker Family of Golden Grain Farm and Garden for their contribution. (Video:@emprezzgolding) #Kilmarnock #Farmers #Agriculture #HurricaneMelissa #Jamaica
