Texas Republican Valentina Gomez crashed an LGBTQ-friendly church service and was swiftly escorted out of the building. Gomez showed up at the service at The Faith Church New Braunfels, who describe themselves as an 'open and affirming' congregation who 'celebrate diversity'. Gomez posted a video to her official X account with the caption: "P*dophile churches don’t like it when you quote The Bible. These p*dophiles use the name of Jesus in vain & lead others astray. Tolerance of sin is not a Christian virtue." Church staff swiftly escorted Gomez out of the building, where she claimed that they were an 'abomination'.
