Bill took delivery of his Mk4 in June 2023 with his first start and go-kart following in November of that year. The car was titled and registered in July 2024, and the paint and finishing touches we completed in August 2025. “I have enjoyed the entire process,” Bill wrote on The Factory Five Forum. “It was a vision I had some 20 years ago. I can’t say how much I enjoyed building this. People sometimes ask me what would I do different. The answer is nothing. I had done so much prior planning and research that I knew exactly what I wanted. If the opportunity comes for me to do another one I will.
