Want strong, healthy hips? Do these 8π
1. Strengthen all sides of the hips β hit glutes, adductors, and hip flexors with hip thrusts, lateral work, and single-leg lifts.
2. Train real mobility β 90/90s, hip CARs, and deep squat holds to open range and build control.
3. Use multiple planes β add lateral and rotational movements so your hips stay athletic, not stiff.
4. Prioritize single-leg work β Bulgarians, SL RDLs, and step-downs to build stability and prevent imbalances.
5. Build core + pelvic stability β planks, carries, and anti-rotation work to support stronger hip mechanics.
6. Add low-impact conditioning β cycling, incline walking, rowingβ¦ keep hips strong without pounding them.
7. Warm up with intention β glute activation + mobility (3β5 min) before every run or lift.
8. Break up long sitting β stand, walk, or stretch often to keep hips from tightening and weakening.
Stronger hips = better lifting, faster running, and fewer injuries.
