About two and a half months ago, political science graduate student Daniel Egemo started his platform, Our Great Experiment, with hopes of bringing people together in a politically polarized society. He conducts both long-form interviews for YouTube or Spotify, and short interviews with students in Speakers Circle to show people that politically, they have more in common than they think. “I think interacting with people face to face, in person, makes you come to a different conclusion, that most people are actually pretty good regardless of whether they're Democrats, Republicans, far left, far right,” Egemo said.
