On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the 501st Legion proudly highlights one of its remarkable members: Dominic Morin (ID-81081) of 501stquebec . Dominic’s path to the Legion began in 2020, when a friendship with a member introduced him to the welcoming community of the Québec Garrison. In 2023, Dominic became the first wheelchair-using member approved in his Garrison. As part of the Québec Garrison’s command staff, he has had the privilege of organizing unforgettable events for outstanding causes, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. As a former Make-A-Wish kid himself, he shares his story to help others understand just how important these fundraising efforts are for children facing immense challenges every day.
