It takes a seismic event for me to show my actual face on here and I reckon this constitutes that. Last month I was in London for the @sesexplore Oscars of Explorations where I got to witness some truly remarkable people being recognised. I was also extremely fortunate to be awarded the Neville Shulman Award for Adventure Filmmaking. Neville is a seasoned adventurer, author, devotee of the arts and casual advisor to his friend Ridley Scott. To be supported by such a man in my endeavours is truly humbling. To which; the point. This award is funding a trip back to Uganda to spend time filming in the Rwenzori with the mountain guides who call the region home, looking at the impacts of climate change on the glaciers there.
