The Swiss international, who recently joined Como after departing Juventus, will now take on an important role as Italy prepares to host the Games in just a few months. When unveiling their list of torchbearers, tournament organisers introduced Lehmann as 'the forward who will lead the way'. As well as releasing a photo of her alongside the caption, 'I carry the flame.'
