LSU held off Western Kentucky 13–10 at Tiger Stadium, securing its seventh win of the season behind a dominant defensive second half. Michael Van Buren, making his second career start, led LSU (7–4) with 202 passing yards and the team’s only offensive touchdown, an 11-yard strike to Trey’Daz Green late in the first half. Damian Ramos added two field goals (18 and 29 yards) to give the Tigers a 13–3 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
LSU’s defense controlled the game after halftime, limiting WKU (8–3) to just 152 total yards and 2.3 yards per play.
