♀️ Several factors still reduce women’s access to, understanding of, and ability to act on hydrometeorological information and early warnings. Gender mainstreaming is not a checkbox in hydrometeorological services, but a means to make systems smarter, more inclusive, and ultimately more effective. 🌦️ When women’s inclusion increases as users, providers, or decision makers, weather and climate services become more gender-responsive across the whole value chain. 📚 When we educate women, we boost risk literacy and decision-making, strengthening communities' resilience and risk preparedness. 🌱 When we engage women in rural areas, we strengthen trust and promote #EarlyWarningsForAll.
