Rapper Quavo and NBA Hall of Famer Dwight Howard are coming to Memorial Stadium in February, but not to perform music or play basketball. ⁠ ⁠ The two will be captaining flag football teams with rosters featuring celebrity participants in a philanthropic event hosted by Celebrity Sweat aimed at providing opportunities for military veterans and their families. As part of Celebrity Sweat’s partnership with Cal Athletics and Visit Berkeley, 2,000 free tickets are available to students with additional potential spots to open. Students can reserve their free ticket on the Cal Athletics website.⁠ ⁠ The names on the rosters will be announced in the next few weeks.
