🎷💛 Meet the Texas Jazz Cats — making music and meals for North Texas! What started as small cul-de-sac concerts during the pandemic has grown into a full nonprofit music group using jazz to fight hunger. Since 2019, the Texas Jazz Cats have raised an incredible $27,000 — enough to help provide 81,000 meals for neighbors facing food insecurity. From outdoor neighborhood shows to regular performances across North Texas, the band encourages dancing, connection, and community generosity. “We want everyone to have a good time, but we also want to do good,” shared vocalist Mark Hess — and they’re doing exactly that.
