Former US president Joe Biden is set to receive a top honour at an LGBTQ+ leadership conference on 5 December for his contributions to equality. The LGBTQ+ Victory Institute's International LGBTQ+ Leaders Conference is held annually in Washington DC and is the largest gathering of LGBTQ+ elected leaders, with more than 700 of them coming together for the weekend. President and CEO Evan Low said: “President Biden has shown unwavering commitment to ensuring LGBTQ+ people can participate fully and openly in our democracy.
