Rome wasn't built in a day, but Roman just came together in one!
Our Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has finished its final integration at NASAGoddard.
Set to launch no later than May 2027, but possibly as early as fall 2026, this observatory is named after NASA's first chief of astronomy and will have a field of view at least 100 times larger than NASAHubble's at the same exceptional resolution.
Over the past few months, the two major assemblies have gone through vigorous testing. Now that they’re combined, the observatory will undergo final testing as a complete unit!
