Martin Karplus was a Nobel Prize-winning chemist with a passion for photography. Karplus began taking photographs while traveling in the 1950s using a Leica camera. His photographs have a focus on people, tradition, and society. This artwork is a generous gift of Marci and Martin Karplus.
