This week's #WorkoftheWeek is Martin Karplus' Crowd in Lobby, Guggenheim Museum, 1962. This is a piece from the Martin Karplus Photography Exhibit and is a digital print from Kodachrome slide. Martin Karplus was a Nobel Prize-winning chemist with a passion for photography. Karplus began taking photographs while traveling in the 1950s using a Leica camera. His photographs have a focus on people, tradition, and society. This artwork is a generous gift of Marci and Martin Karplus.
