There’s no feeling that can compare to winning a National Championship! 🏆 It’s crazy to think that 45 years ago me and my MSU teammates won a national title. I knew we were up against a 33-0 Indiana State team led by Player of the Year Larry Bird, so I had to make sure I did my part for my team to bring home the trophy. Being awarded Most Valuable Player of the game for my 24 point / 7 rebound / 5 assist performance and having my teammate Greg Kelser show out with a 19 point / 8 rebound / 9 assist performance proved two stars was better than one!
