Due to forecasted conditions in the area, the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) system has announced a 2-hour delayed opening for Friday, Dec. 5. Bishop O’Connell follows FCPS weather-related closing and delay decisions, and therefore will open two hours late on Friday, Dec. 5. The first bell rings at 9:40 a.m. Because of uncertainty in the forecast, FCPS will monitor the weather and reevaluate in the morning if they need to adjust to a closure. Please stay tuned!
