I originally was going to Portland to cover the usatf cross country championships & nikecrossnationals but a last minute switch and I'm off to Boston to cover the Sharon Colyear-Danville season opener, the biggest indoor track meet of opening weekend. Made a quick stop to celebrate the opening of the roughandtumblepub in Columbia City and to congratulate owner jenslenz on her new location in my neighborhood before hitting the light rail to the airport. Jen and her staff hosted an event at their Ballard location after uwtrack finished fourth at the 2025 NCAA indoor championships, which was the first time in school history that the Dawgs made the podium.
