“After graduating in May, my plans like so many others changed. I never ever thought about going to graduate school, but knowing that I could stick around the place I call home for another year was a no-brainer.
I started my master’s in textiles at
@ncstatewilson, and in one of my courses we were able to weave a design or picture of our own on the Jacquard machine. I thought it would be really fun to weave one of my graduation pictures almost as a way to show my undergraduate degree in textiles as well.
NC State has always pushed me to dream big and push the limits of what has been done before. I found a true home in the Wilson College and will forever cherish all of the memories and people I've met here. My favorite memories have been attending the football and club hockey games and always getting a two-scooper waffle cone of
@ncstatehowlingcow ice cream in Talley with my roommates." —
