“I discovered NC State after my high school Apparel Development teacher suggested it to me. I was seeking a university that would allow me to obtain a technical fashion degree with a traditional school experience. Naively, I googled ‘NC State College of Design’ to learn more about our fashion majors, before realizing my home would be @ncstatewilson. I traveled from Charlotte to Raleigh for a tour and stumbled into a friend from high school. After she gave me a more informal tour, I quickly decided NC State was the only college for me. I bought a pair of NC State sweatpants from Wolfpack Outfitters, in Harrelson Hall at the time, then submitted my application — in that order. .
