“I was born in Durham, and I’ve grown up there my whole life. I was kind of a nerd as a kid, but I got really into theater and tabletop games and things like that. • I’m coming to NC State because the design program is really good and it offers specifically animation, which is what I want to go into. I like the storytelling aspect and how you can show motion and time passing through art. • I’m excited to schedule my own things and sort of be independent in my work and really focus in on work that I want to do, and on just growing as a person, I guess. • [After NC State] I want to be working in animation.
