"Imagine: walking on campus in cap and gown, family in tow, and you tell them, 'We have to get a photo in front of the Belltower.' We didn’t have a professional photographer, just a phone and a dad with an eye for angles! It’s starting to rain ever so lightly, when a man I have never met comes up to me and says, 'Would you like a photo not many students have?' That’s when he handed me a key and said I can open the door and walk in! I later found out this man is former Vice Chancellor Thomas Stafford. What an amazing experience I got to share with my family. As an NC State alum, I will always cherish this memory.
