ALUMNI HOMECOMING 🏀💙 A special moment in Tarnoff Gym tonight as Kiley Capstraw (Class of 2022) returned home with her Yale Bulldogs teammates for a closed practice session ahead of their matchup vs. Rider this weekend. Kiley’s West Orange journey started at Mount Pleasant Elementary and continued through Liberty Middle School before she became one of the most decorated athletes to come out of WOHS. A straight-A student and National Honor Society member, she made her mark both in the classroom and across campus — from Managing Editor of the school newspaper to Mountaineer Mentor and more. On the court, she was unstoppable: NJ.com Conference Player of the Year, SEC Player of the Year, and a McDonald’s All-American Games nominee. Now a senior captain at Yale, Kiley is having a career-best season, averaging 13.6 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 3.8 APG, 2.6 SPG, and shooting 50% from the field. Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer.
