Rogue comment but…Shanghai feels like the Paris of Asia. Take it with a pinch of salt, of course 😅 I got really lucky with the way I was able to experience the city and I’m so grateful for that! :’)) I spent the last couple of days zipping around on the city bikes, seeing way more than I would’ve sat in a Didi (China’s private hire system) or on foot. This isn’t something tourists can easily do, because you need a local number to set up an account (from what I understand). So if you have a friend in Shanghai, I highly recommend asking if they can help you get access. But plot twist: she had to fly back to Singapore for a work trip during my stay hahaha. So most part of my trip turned out to be a solo-trip 😆 The first 48 hours were…intense.
