The French Film Festival is back! And this year is extra meaningful with it being their 40th edition…which also makes it Singapore’s longest running foreign film festival. I’ll be away for most part of it, but these are the ones I’m looking forward to catch once I’m back: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 – I love a film based on a true story! Plus the cast is flying down for a Q&A next week. 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗧𝗢 – bc I’m in my animated-robot-saves-the-day era + we get to watch it here before it releases in France next year! 👀🍿 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲 – who doesn’t like a bit of nostalgia (& Audrey Tautou 💙) As usual, they’re making it super accessible – ticketed screenings at shawtheatres Lido and PLQ, afsingapour, theprojectorsg; and some ✨free✨ ones at selected community spaces and The Projector.
