Part 1 — A walk through BlackRock’s office Stepping inside, we were greeted by our wallpapers on every level with each customised in bespoke colours to flow seamlessly with the interiors. It felt like a new chapter for patterns we know so well, now reimagined in fresh settings. We first spotted our City in the Garden velvet cushion cover and lampshades—small touches of Singapore spirit brightening cosy corners. Then came the moment that tugged at our hearts: Vintage Grilles. This design is special to us—Eugene had lovingly catalogued the grilles of Tiong Bahru, and I later transformed them into patterns that capture everyday lives. To see these works again - some in new colours, styled perfectly - brought a sense of wonder. It’s about more than decoration; it’s about introducing a touch of Singapore’s life and aesthetic into spaces where people work, gather and dream. ✨ And this is just the beginning.
