Designing with Purpose: A Tie that Tells a Story We had the opportunity to design a silk tie for SingHealth, featuring their orchid icon and corporate colours. What might seem like a small gesture—a tie—was in fact a thoughtful way to celebrate the people behind their work, and the quiet strength they carry. At the heart of our bespoke service is this: helping our clients tell their story in a way that feels true to them. Sometimes it’s through a familiar motif, a meaningful colour, or a detail only the wearer will notice. For SingHealth, the orchid—a symbol of resilience and care—was reinterpreted with warmth and clarity. The design also draws inspiration from Singapore’s natural environment—where orchids thrive in quiet corners, and the striking Julia Heliconian butterfly, with its brilliant orange wings, flits lightly through parks and hospital gardens alike.
