What did you find the freedom to do today? When we visited the busiest road in Orchard during lunch time, we thought one hour was enough to hear an abundant amount of answers. After all, we’re free to do a lot of things everyday: we can try new food, wear whatever we like, talk to the people who make us happy, among many things. We never expected that the one hour we allotted for this shoot – would extend to almost three hours. And in those three hours, only less than ten souls actually came up to the mic, out of the thousands of people who pass by Orchard everyday. At the busiest time no less. As challenging as it was, these awesome folks were all we needed to hear to think about how free we actually are. Free to travel, to meet others, to choose, to express ourselves, to live the way we desire – even if it’s freedom in the small ways.
