Layla Bryan has taken two gap years since completing high school. She began working in a memory care facility in Gainesville — first as a server and quickly rising to a director position as a caregiver. On Friday, gtadmission surprised her at work with a hand delivered acceptance letter to Georgia Tech. She applied to Tech because she wanted to challenge herself. “I’m the kind of person that always wants to strive to achieve the most that I can.
