Opera Tang turns 2 today 🥰 I remember my first time out in public in drag at Red Hill MRT… I don’t know what possessed me to do a shoot in a high-traffic public space in the middle of lockdown using an iPhone X camera 🤡 But I’m glad I was delusional enough to do it 🥸 Fast forward 2 years, I wore the same wig (obviously restyled 💇🏻‍♀️) and headpiece (with more jewels 💎) to my first ever ball by vogueinprogress 🏆 More than that, drag has forced me out of my comfort zone into a space that was unexpectedly more comfortable - someplace where people truly celebrated queerness 🌈 I may be optimistic in saying this but… I think I found my people 🥹 and I’m grateful to have met all of you 💕 .
