Rugs aren’t as fussy to maintain as you might think! Three rug care tips we keep in our back pocket: 1. Fold corners back to uncurl them, and stack something heavy overnight if necessary. 2. Spray on a protective layer to ward off stains. (We like Scotchgard Rug & Carpet Protector — it’s odor free and dries without leaving any residue or changing textures.) 3. Most stains can be cleaned in a pinch by dabbing with a diluted dish soap solution or vinegar solution. You can also keep a stain remover handy at home for emergencies!
