According to court documents, Tekashi committed five separate violations, including traveling without the required permission, failing mandated drug tests, and testing positive for methamphetamines. During sentencing, Judge Paul A. Engelmayer criticized the rapper, stating the infractions signaled a belief that “the rules don’t apply to you.”
