A quick breakdown of how I approach my photos, whether it’s personal work or streetoutcast. I’ve been doing this for so long that staying consistent with lighting, color, and composition has become second nature. When those feel right, the whole set feels cohesive. Here are the core things I try to focus on every time: 1. Keep the background clean A simple backdrop makes your product the main character. No distractions, no clutter. 2. Use a single, controlled light source Either a window or an LED light bar, soft, directional light is your best friend. Turn off all ambient lights so your colors stay accurate. 3. Stay consistent with color temperature Match your white balance across every shot. It makes editing way faster and keeps your grid looking intentional. 4. Shoot wide open for depth I always go for shallow depth of field. It adds mood and pulls the viewer right into the details. 5.
