👏👏👏Nadia rang our end-of-treatment bell after surgery and 30 weeks of chemo for #bonecancer! 🎊 She came to our #Oakland hospital last December from #MountShasta, and our team discovered a large mass in her ribs that turned out to be an aggressive bone cancer called #osteosarcoma. She started chemo right away and had surgery with us to remove the mass. At Nadia’s bell-ringing, she and her family wore beadsofcourage necklaces and matching “Nadia Strong” shirts. Nadia recently turned 18 and is excited to graduate high school next spring! She and her family went on a cruise in Mexico to celebrate the completion of her #chemo!
