Collin is celebrating two years seizure-free — please congratulate him! As a toddler, Collin experienced a #seizure at daycare and went to a different hospital by ambulance. His family went home without answers, and he unfortunately experienced another seizure that night. The family rushed to our #Oakland hospital and our team discovered Collin has a genetic form of #epilepsy. After some trial and error, Collin’s care team found the right medication for him, and he is now #seizurefree and in fifth grade! He loves swimming, old movies, reading and theatre — and recently performed in a production of the #Aristocats!
