Two promises we made to each other as parents … we don’t let our kids start the day feeling anxious, and we don’t let them end the day that way either. We do what we like to call “bookend our days” … with love, peace, and gratitude. I know they’ll remember every prayer we prayed … the answered ones and the delayed ones. But most importantly that their parents have ALWAYS been Grateful for the great seasons and the getting better ones.
