Study Abroad Spotlight: Keira Cahill ’27 – Argentina 🇦🇷 Meet Keira Cahill, a political science and Spanish major who is currently studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At Trinity, Keira is involved with The Trinitonian, KRTU, and OREC. She enjoys exploring San Antonio, finding bugs on campus, singing karaoke, listening to music, and spending time with friends. After graduation, she hopes to attend law school and pursue a career in environmental law. Keira wanted to study in Buenos Aires because she knew little about Argentina beyond a few things like Lionel Messi and empanadas. She says her experience has been deeply rewarding and memorable. A standout moment this semester was a class trip to Bariloche for her anthropology course, The Making of Patagonia. During the trip, she learned about the history and culture of the Indigenous Mapuche people, hiked through ancient forests, and marveled at awe-inspiring landscapes.
