A former #MemphisTigers football player was reportedly sh-t to death by an officer in #Georgia. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, 27-year-old #LaAndreThomas of Jackson, #Mississippi, d-ed after an officer sh-t him on December 4. The Daily Helsman identifies Thomas as a former Tigers defensive back. According to Memphis Athletics, Thomas played for the Tigers from 2017 to 2019. The GBI claims that officers with the #SandySprings Police Department responded to a report of an assault on #DunwoodyPlace at 10:30 a.m. that morning. A woman had reportedly claimed that a man assaulted her as she walked her dog. The GBI reports that Sandy Springs officers reviewed video cameras in the area and later identified Thomas as the man involved in the reported assault. Officers reportedly approached Thomas at a nearby bus stop. The GBI claims that, during a conversation with the officers, Thomas pulled a handg-n out of his waistband.
