When you study history, it's easy to get wrapped up in the big and important things. However, you might be able to find something just as interesting in the small and more simple things! For example, how did people put a dress on before they were elastic or had zippers? How did miners see where they worked before battery powered headlamps? These are some things my grandparents found in and around their house after they moved there in 1979.
